For schools

A daily practice for the skills that aren't always taught in a classroom.

The Gratitude Journal for Kids is a guided daily journal designed for children aged 7 to 9. Rooted in positive psychology, it introduces children to gratitude, emotional awareness, courage, kindness, reflection and connection through approachable, repeatable activities. It is designed to complement children's broader education by giving them opportunities to explore and practise important inner skills.

Why it matters

Children learn to read, write and calculate.

Growing up asks for more: understanding what they feel, trying again when something is hard, saying sorry, noticing when someone needs them.

These skills can be taught and practised with intention. We know how busy and stretched teachers are. The journal does not add to their workload or get in the way of the curriculum. It gives them a simple, consistent and structured way to practise these softer skills.

The framework
Notice.Choose.Practise.Remember.Reflect.

Five connected practices, built into every daily page. Each is explained on the journal page.
